OUR DESIGN
RESEARCH
Every year, over 22 billion water bottles are wasted, the most majority of which end up in the ocean, releasing hazardous chemicals such as BPA into the water, which can cause illnesses and hormone cancer.
MATERIAL
The devices are made of recycled material, including rPET, Recycled Glass, and Aluminum, which are the material from most of the recycled bottles.
rPETG
Recycled Glass
Recycled Aluminum
High plasticity/flexible modeling, durable is dozens of times of ordinary glass. For the rPETG material, it’s from the beverage bottle body. So we consider this material to be the body of the machine.
Unified from scrap glass beverage raw materials, through screening can achieve higher purity. For our design, we applied recycled glass to be our screen.
Annually regenerated aluminum production accounts for about 25% of the original production, energy consumption only spent for 5% of the original extraction. It is from beverage cans, and we use that as the bottle holder and the filter for our machine.

PROJECT FEEDBACK
How recycled bottles are returned to the city as potted plants through Coca-Cola's iconic vending machine, it's very easy to empathize and understand.
